Anniversary Sampler

A couple of weeks back I posted a sneak peak of the sampler I came up with for David & I's 25th wedding anniversary in June. I stitched it while he was working in Kansas. Originally I was going to give it to him ON our anniversary, but then I didn't :-)

I found the pattern in old issues of Sampler & Antique Needlework magazine; it is made up of two bookmarks with some alterations to fit the occasion:

I got them both finished a few months ago and now they are hanging in my living room - they are too nice to hide them all year and only bring them out for Christmas.

I finally finished something again. My stocking had been done for a while, David's has just received the last paillettes. Now I just need to find someone that can turn these pieces into actual socks. If only I knew how to sew more than just a straight line ...
