The weather was so beautiful today, David and I decided to go on a field trip and check out a couple of antique malls in the area and this is what I found: a vintage Jolles, Austria, Petit Point purse. It has a farm harvest motif and both sides are embroidered. The stitches are so super fine, it had to take forever to stitch the panels, along with a flower vine for the gusset. I did some investigating on the net and my best guess is that it is worth five times as much as what I paid for. The purse is in mint condition, and even the little coin purse that came with it is still there, along with a small wooden (Chinese) comb.
