The Shores of Hawk Run Hollow, 2nd panel

It's been a while since I worked on this piece ... 40 ct. linen is just a tad bit hard on the eyes. But, I had picked it up this week to work on it for a while. I noticed that I never posted a picture of the second panel. I am making good progress on the 3rd part, so I figured I better post a picture of part 2. So, here it is:

With our pool season at an end, I'm guessing I'll be spending more time stitching.

oops, sorry ... wrong picture, not MY backyard, but the garden at Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. Hubby and I had spent a few days in NC celebrating our 25th anniversary. Glad, I don't have to tend to those flower beds ....

I was about to say, no wonder you don't get much stitching done!! Block 2 is very pretty!

I wouldn't get ANY stitching done if I had to take care of a garden of that magnitude. Guess, that's what one has servants for :-)
