Never! I just can't walk past a cute pair. Granted, my favorites are Gingher, but I also have others, just as pretty, maybe not as sharp. I will not make recommendations, everyone has to find the pair they like best or suits the project best, i.e. very slender and super sharp ones to do cut work in drawn thread or Hardanger.
You might just fall in love with the little pink ones and will never need another.

Oh Sister in Scissor Spirit! I am often berated for my need to have special scissors to accompany new projects and am also often told that I have plenty. It's like a dirty little secret sometimes to hoard these precious scissors....now where can I find a pair of scissors that will go with...........
What a pretty way to store/display your scissors! Mine are just in a labeled drawer when they're not in bags with projects (which all too often are UFOs so the scissors end up being lost for ages...)
